JAMMA Cabinet to MAME Conversions!

Welcome to my site! Here you will find details of my JAMMA to MAME conversion projects - a hobby that has become more of an obsession over the years, but one in which I learn new things every day. I hope that by sharing my projects with MAME users everywhere I can spread the knowlege I have gained and encourage others to restore old JAMMA boxes and keep that retro spirit alive!

I've completed 4 full projects to date and I'm currently working on project numbers 5&6. I own a total of 38 JAMMA machines and I've got plans for them all, although ultimately I'll probably end up keeping only a couple. For me the fun is not just in playing those old retro classics but also in the restoration process and breathing new life into machines that many believe are close to the end of their working life. By the time I've finished with a machine many of it's components have been replaced or renewed and the finished cabinet is ready to provide many more years of enjoyment for its new owner.

This is a hobby for me, not a job so I've only got a limited amount of time I can spend on it. I'm happy to help other enthusiasts when I can, but please don't expect me to have all of the answers as I'm still learning too and I come across new challenges with every new project.
